Hi, Does the Jag bring in certain pattern? change colour?
High Yellow gives a much more yellow snake?

Thanks

Jag changes the pattern and colour.

High yellow is a descriptive term, not a specific mutation.

Yes jag can enhance colour particularly yellows. It also enhances the hypo trait. IMO. High yellow is a very loose term.

So a Jag might or not have deeper black?
If its great yellow it could be Jag or just a yellow Jungle?

Thanks

No jaguar is a co Dom mutation. An inherited trait. Jag x wildtype = 50% jags in clutch on average. And are generally brighter with a reduced pattern.
Colour is inherited through selective breeding if you want high yellow high black animals ideally both your parent snakes would be that.

Jungles do loose some of the brightness of the yellow and the black fades over the years? I assume this would be the same for jag but would be far more random.
