Hey Guys,
Training for a 12 hour coming up so I have been racking up the kms getting ready and thought I would dust off the lights and stay out for some night riding tonight. Came across these two. Was a good ride anyway, but this topped it off for me - never seen an echidna in the wild aside from road kill.
Also can anyone confirm an id on this little guy - best I can do is Small-eyed Snake or Cryptophis nigrescens but thats just what the google machine tells me! It was about 30cm and in south east qld and dry open forest.
Last one is my rush which also prefers the dry open forest, not that it has spent much time there lately.
Cheers,
Paul.
