Do you have the heating on a timer, to come on and off?
And yes, that should be ok. If you are home in time on Monday, feed him as soon as you get in; unless the heat is not going to be on?

Yes the heating is on a timer a low wattage heat pad goes on at night and switches off before the light switches on the pad only boosts the ambient temp to approx.18-20

As long your ackie is getting some heat for a day or two, it should be ok. If he is getting his normal daytime temperature, then you needn't worry about the blanket.
