Hi

I am preparing to pick up my new python hatchling in a few weeks.

we are trying to work out where to put the enclosure setup (currently just the tub setup on a shelf with heat cord setup)
We have not long moved to QLD so use aircon rather regularly
Does this affect them in a bad way if they are in our bedroom?
we have children so need to keep her safe as well

thanks for any advice

Air con is fine so long as there is a heat mat/cord it'll make that warm end the temp your thermostat is set to so they have a gradient. I have aircon on alot because of heat and it's fine.

Only one thing about Airconditioning, it can dry out the skin of the Snake. If you need to use Airconditioning, bathe the Snake on a regular basis, they are natural swimmers and measure the temp of the water to be 32c no hotter. This will help at shedding time.... other than this, there is no problem using Airconditioning as Vixen has mentioned.
