Well according to Snakes NT they can get up to 2.5m :shock: and over 15kg but i think they are usually about 1.5m and females are smaller.

I believe they are from near Darwin. In victoria they cant keep these guys or spencers monitors(?), I have no idea why just one of those stupid rules. Some time back they killed a heap of them that where brought in as sand monitors

hopefully, they look like a pair(i hope), so its up to them now. They should be big enough to breed this coming season i think.
