My boys heat lamp, ceramic light fixture and thermostat blew a few weeks ago, so I’ve managed to rig a heat mat up in the enclosure. There’s a tile on top of it and newspaper, but part of the heat mat goes to 44° and the other sits at around 34°. Is this ok til I get a new thermostat? I can try and find some more tile to put on top but it’s either this or no heat at all.
He’s always been pretty good at moving away if he gets too hot, I’m just a worrier.
