Hi,
I've had a Pygmy Python for about 9 months now, and it's never had a problem with handling. Over the last two weeks, though, it's started striking whenever a hand goes near it, it's been fed twice in the time, any idea why there's been this sudden change in behaviour?

Probably hungry, try upsizing food. If nothing else has changed like temps or anything and he looks to be in perfect health he might just be hungry.

As they get older, they become VERY food orientated. They are like a miniature BHP in that regard. There is no way in the world I will put my hand in my ones cages.....but they are perfect to handle once they realise that no food is involved.
