Python friendly paint or stain

I'm building my Darwin python a terrarium out of timber, mainly ply. Once the build is finished, I plan to seal all internal joints with wood filler & or silicone.
Can someone please advise on snake friendly wood fillers & or silicone & if there is paint friendly paint or stain, once sealed.

https://www.bunnings.com.au/selleys-310g-clear-glass-silicone-sealant_p1234951 --- use this silicone, let it air out for aslong as needed untill there is no residing smell remaining, preferably airing in a seperate room to your snake,

I used the same cabots water based sealant, and left the finnished product outside in direct sunlight for at least 2 weeks. It dose have a strong smell. I would also suggest that when its dry and ready to set up, you turn all heating and lighting on, let it warm up inside for a few hours, and check again for any residual smell before you move your pet in.
