I have the 4x4ft reptile one enclosure and have the stupid reptile one heat cage that twists on, it is not secure at all. My python likes to climb and mess around with the cage and it comes off.

- Any tips on how I can secure that lamp better? The top of the enclosure is mesh, with a plastic thing that enables you to twist the cage on
- does anyone else have a reptile one heat cage and experience the same issue?
- I’m also worried she will burn herself if she decides to climb and latch onto the heat cage. Are snakes smart enough to not allow themself to burn?

sorry if my questions are stupid, i just want my girly to be safe

After you twist it on, it is meant to be locked in with two locator screws, you can drill a bigger hole and put a short bolt with a wing nut on it.
