Hi guys!
I stumbled on this fella while taking a walk in Glenbrook in the lower blue mountains (NSW).
Does anyone know what sort of snake he might be? Sorry it’s such a bad photo.

Thanks in advance!

Definitely a death adder, short stubby body with a big head and nice stripes

nice find! Definitely keep your distance, not that they move fast but their strikes lighting quick!

I believe they have the fastest strike in the animal kingdom.

Thanks guys! I had noticed the similarity but I didn’t think we’d actually found one. We moved away quickly and maintained our distance and he seemed willing to stay away from us as well. Very glad we didn’t get any closer!
