This thread is dedicated to listing all the Vets and locations in Australia the have experience and specialize in reptiles. Please add any places and folks you are aware of along with any relevant details to help folks who may not know where to go in your area.

[Mod Note: I have now checked/updated each entry, adding a tonne of web links that didn't exist when the original posts were made. Some have been crossed out because they either no longer exist or I was unable to verify the info. If you have any info relevant to these posts please use the Report function to let us know. Dr Tristan Rich is the exotics, native wildlife and reptiles vet. I'm not a huge fan of Lort Smith as a whole, but Tristan has provided great care, and the location is pretty good for anyone in inner Melbourne.

NSW Mid North Coast
Camden Haven Veterinary Clinic  Animal Hospital
Address: 476 Ocean Dr, Laurieton NSW 2443

Dr Gavin Rippon is considered to be the best Reptile Vet on the Mid North coast, his rates are fantastic and his number 1 concern is your Reptile

Thanks Newts. I'm in the inner North and am mighty sick of that drive to Karingal!! (Even though I've only done it twice!). Shane offers boarding services for reptiles. Anyone know of any other places that offer this? Or even home visiting services for when you're on holiday?

Hi folks, here's the national list of specialist vets from the AAVAC (avian) vets - the majority of these do exotics including reptiles as well, but obviously if the practice name is "XXX Bird clinic" or similar then they are only likely to do birds :)

http://www.aavac.com.au/find_an_avian_veterinarian.html

Doesn't include vets that do only reptile or non-avian exotics unfortunately, and there are a number of those around too.

Best Vet I've found in the Perth Metro so far, though arguably not the cheapest. They also offer 24/7 emergency care.
They've looked after my cats & family's dogs for the past decade, and I wouldn't hesitate to bring my Woma to them, should the need arise.

Direct Vet Services Point Cook Victoria.

Dr Karen Davies did a great job of patching up a wild Eastern Long Neck Turtle for me that had been run over by a lawn mower and has been first class in other treatment services I've required.

I second that Wally. They have since added a 2nd reptile vet Sarah, and a 3rd joining in the new year.
Awesome for me to have such great service on the doorstep.
