it depends on what exactly you are doing with them for art. As a reference you can use anything you like on the internet... say if you are sketching/painting etc. Thats what I do

But if you are going to be using the image itself in the art (photoshop, doing a direct copy sketch or painting of the scene itself) then you will need to ask direct permission so may need to post your exact intentions for these photos.

Cool I have a large collection of images, if you need anything specific PM me and I may be able to help Most are animals though with some landscapes but generally I use images direct from the net as references.
