I would be careful when looking at snakes.
It looks like this snake was put into a tub and if it was a small eyed snake, and it bit you. You could be in trouble
Anyway, as a rule of thumb, if i don’t know what an animal is i don’t pick it up or touch it.

Man, especially when travelling abroad I often have snakes in my hand well before I know what they are.
