Southern Angle headed ate substrate
Hi all,
I was feeding my SAHD's the other day and while they were eating I saw one of them miss the cricket he was after and accidently got eat a piece of the substrate which is currently a product called "Repti Bark". I tried to get it out of his mouth but I was unsuccessful and eventually he swallowed it. I am worried that this might cause impaction and I am wondering about what will happen and what can I do about it now? It also looked difficult to swallow because of its size. This is the first time I have actually seen one eat some of the substrate.
Both of them are just under one year old and are approximately 8 cm SVL. They are both active and alert.
This also makes me wonder what do other people use as substrate for their Southern Angle headed dragons?
Any help is appreciated,
Thanks
