Took these pics of a spider in my backyard..weird.
The pea sized egg cases look old but contain hundreds of live slings

Of course it is, thanks Nick

How and why does it make so many egg cases..They are quite hard on the outside and the slings seem to be living in them after they hatch..Very interesting and im tempeted to just google but decided to ask here instead.

I find these spiders allot in the local vineyards, while on their own they are very quiet and passive,
they do not like to be in close proximity to another bird dropping spider
and will fight, If you live in SA go to langhorn Creek and you will find tons of them.
