General Description
Spiny stick insects are without a doubt the most popular phasmid in australia, if not the world. They are an easy to keep and breed species native to the east coast of australia and are great for beginners and experienced keepers alike. They feed on a wide variety of plants including Eucalypts, Guava, Acacia, Calistemon, Calliandra, the list goes on. Females get to 140-150mm and are very well camouflaged. Photo shows a sub adult female, Specimens on offer are not this big, will upload pics of them shortly
