Hi there my mates spotted has changed into a completely different snake.
He used to love being held and picked , lately when we hold him he trys to get away and swings around too bite and wont let go either until i spray him with water but straight again he will try again.
His just turning 2 gets fed 2 adult mice a week nothing in his environment has changed and his really well looked after. Is he getting cranky because his wanting to breed or is there something wrong? Thanks

Biting and holding on until needing a spritz of water to release it sounds like a feeding response. Are you sure 2 adult mice per week is enough?

Agreed with the two above responses.
How old is he?
If he is over 2 years, he should definitely be on something bigger than 2 mice, I feed my girl a small adult rat twice a week (or when she is hungry, sometimes every second week), she is a 4 year old Spotted.
As sniper said, it sounds like a feeding response, I would up his food slightly and try him with that.
