Hi everyone, I've often looked at this site & used heaps of the info to help me research, but until 2 weeks ago, I didn't actually own any reptiles. Apart from blue tongues back when I was a kid. I have set up a tank with 8 marbled geckos, and I want more reptiles already!!! My husband won't let me get a snake as he is petrified, so I thought if I started out with cute little geckos, and gradually built up, well you just never know. Haha. I am in the process of setting up another tank now....
Anyway, was just wondering, as I can't really find any info on the affect of lighting for my marbled geckos. I know they don't require uv or specialised lighting, but was wondering if I could possibly be stressing them out, as during the day they are not really in a position for getting any sunlight, as we both work and the house is all sealed. Then at night, they are generally getting more light from our internal lighting. They seem okay, and seem to be eating fine. The first two I got are the most timid, and pretty much stay under the rocks. But the other 6 will run around and like to eat even in the light. Anyway, just hoping someone has some experience, as I would hate to cause them undue stress. Thanks heaps
