Substeate for eastern blue tongue

Is uci mulch and choir peat from bunnings ok for eastern bluey substrate? I use it fir my darwin so just wanted to see if it's ok for the bluey aswell whom atm is just on a paper with synthetic grass ontop.

It will be fine so long as you keep it dry but I perfer to use aspen chips/shavings(chipsy brand) for all my blueys and it is a good and clean bedding
