G'day im soon to be getting an eastern water skink and i was just woundering what are good substrates/bedding for them besides coir peat. any help will greatly appreciated and thank you in advance. sorry if this has already been asked.

I'd go with the coir peat myself but U could also use river pebbles

I love coir peat, I use it in most of my enclosures. It is a bit annoying in the ones that have a lot of water though, I find a lot of it ends up in the water, and does leech tannins. Aside from that I don't have any issues with it:)

Sorry for me asking but where can you get coir peat from? I've looked at bunnings and can't find it? But don't want to pay the crazy prices at pet shops!?

Sorry, coco peat :) Same same. I buy the Brunnings brand blocks from bunnings, just make sure you get the one with no fertiliser in it :)
