Hi All,

I am hoping to get some Oedura gecko hatchlings soon and have heard mixed responses to whether different Oedura species can be kept in the one enclosure (ie. castelnaui and/or tyroni /or coggeri)
I've done a bit of research and keep coming up with differing answers.
Would really appreciate your advice on this as I'm just getting into geckos!

Ps. Just as a disclaimer- not at all interested in interbreeding, but is that really likely if they are separate species anyway?
Thanks in advance

I have geckos, but sadly no Oedura. I know that lots of Gecko species are social lizards, but i'm not sure if different species are ok. Do your research and let me know, kind of curious myself now...
And like eipper said, stress might be an issue

Thank you Eipper and Callum for your input, much appreciated!

I did some more research and spoke with a couple of breeders. They said when they are juveniles it's fine to have them mixed in but as they reach maturity it's on the safer side to separate them.
