Hello! Ive made the decision that with the upcoming reptile expo happening in Penrith 2022, i want to get my first snake! Im very excited and have been doing alot of research. Id love to start myself off with a hatchling stimsons python.
One thing im unsure of is its enclosure tank/tub. Would a tub set up be ideal for a new reptile keeper? What sizes would be best?
Any tips and advice would be appreciated! I wanna do right by my future lil noodle.

yes tub setups are recommended for any level of keeper, especially hatchling antaresia
+ a 7w heat mat + a good quality thermostat(inkbird 308 is a good beginner thermostat) + waterbowl + a hide

Thank you! Are tub enclosures alright for when they become a yearling and an adult aswell?
If it’s just the one snake you have, proper enclosures made of melamine are “nicer” however tub system works fine for them and you will find 99% of breeders use them
