Varanus gouldi vs Varanus rosenbergi

I was wondering if anyone out there had experience with Varanus gouldi and Varanus rosenbergi and if they had a preference in terms of handleability or training. Does one make a better pet than the other?
Also, any tips for taming down?

HI Ryanw, I keep both species. I would rate goudlii over rosenbergi. Goulds seem to be much more amicable, and tollerate handling a lot more. Both my rosenbergi are tail whippers and carry on. I rate goulds as one of the best pet varanids from my experience with varanids.

As for training, I would say both are equal in this regard. Both are smart and attentive. THey are alos very food drvien so will respond to food based training.
