We would also like to know what factors determine the vent you purchase?

We will be collating a series of concepts for you guys to comment on within the next few days, but in the mean we would appreciate responses from all. We do not want people to fight about why they choose certain things, as far as I see it, they are all valid responses.

These other threads also apply and if you could vote/comment, would be appreciated.

I said this in one of the other threads but variable flow would be the biggest point for me. Being able to reduce airflow during sheds to increase humidity or increase airflow on the hotter days is a virtual must in my opinion

This is the variable plate which will sit on the opposite side of the beauty plate (snake design). It has a piece of acrylic which slides to restrict the amount of air flow. At the fully closed position there is still an allowance for air to escape from the tracks, this can be reduced by reducing the width of the tracks (currently 5mm). The plate itself is the same stainless steel (1mm) used on the opposite piece.

Would this be appropriate?

Without any comments on this, we will just assume that it is fine.
