We spent many hours and a lot of money designing and constructing these enclosures and we are selling them at the Gold Coast Reptile Expo 2013. We no longer require them as we are redesigning our show presence to be less complicated and more streamlined.

While these are not up for sale at this point, we felt it was best to give people ample warning that these would be up for sale.

Below are some photos from the Gold Coast Reptile Expo 2011 that we last attended.

Display Enclosure - Sliding Glass 890w x 588h x 300d

Display Enclosure - Hinged Doors 890w x 588h x 300d

Both enclosures come with unique aboriginal painting styled vents that are flush mounted into the enclosure walls. From the outside these vents are hidden with two simple slots - very clean looking.

Features:
- Computer routered solid pine construction
- Top cavity with 3 downlights which produce ample heating (temps at show were showing 35deg surface beneath lights during winter)
- 2 x 40mm exhaust fans to extract heat caused by lamps
- One-of-a-kind backgrounds made by routing the back panel, inserting real wood veneer laser cut to shape and painstakingly assembled by hand. These panels are each worth $500 alone.
- Decoration foliage as shown with real rocks (sliding glass display features a real branch mounted with screws in enclosure)
- Unique hand crafted hinged doors with mounted toughened glass inlays.
- The hinged doors will come with 2 x Black Morellia Handles (If we have undamaged stock of Stainless Handles, these will be used instead)

The enclosures will be amended for normal use where we will remove the anti-grab panels and refit new sliding glass with standard tracks (as what is attached is the prototype version of the track system). We will also be removing any other items we deem not necessary like switches, triggers, etc.

These will be available for $1000 each and pick up will be from the show grounds or by other arrangements with the buyer (local buyers only).

We will give out more details closer to the show.

Just curious as to the definition of "computer routed". This was mentioned in another thread I think by Yommy.

Cheers.

Technically it is CNC Routing (Computer Numerically Controlled) but Computer Routing made it a bit more simple for most. It is all cut out using a large machine to make all the panels fit perfectly.

Here are some additional photos regarding the features of the display enclosures (specifically the sliding glass enclosure).

Each enclosure comes with 3 down lights fitted into a false ceiling. These lights have been shown to produce about 34-35deg surface temps during winter. You may have to add additional heating sources if you wish but from a display point of view, these really compliment the enclosures.

Each enclosure features small 40mm fans used to vent out heat from within the ceiling cavity.

The fan's grill has been routered directly into the wooden panel for a clean professional appearance.

Each enclosure has been wired in using 12v systems. These plugs fit into transformers that we will supply. If the transformers are faulty, we will re-wire these to suit standard store purchased transformers.

Each enclosure also features custom made wooden vent covers with an aboriginal painting themed design. These are flush mounted into the enclosure's sides.

From the outside the vents are clean and professional in appearance. The airflow efficiency between the panel design and the slots is 1:1 (no restriction).

A view from the top of the Sliding Glass Enclosure. This shows how you can access the enclosure from the top after unscrewing the ceiling component.

A close up of the inside of the enclosure.

We will be posting up more photos regarding the other enclosure soon. We will also provide progress photos of the amendments to be made.

Hi these are awesome so are the rest of your products! Purchased a couple of handles for the snakes and lizard tanks at GC Expo and they're brilliant.... they're functional and add a great finishing touch especially to glass sliding doors! Just wanted to know if you could make any of the Aboriginal snake design vent covers for purchase separately? And if so how much would they be? Thanks

On your next enclosures, be sure to have a 50-100mm high piece on the bottom of the enclosure ( same as the top basically ) so when the snakes decides to go to the toilet, the mess doesn't go in the track or under the closing doors.

This is something I will be adding in actually. When these were initially designed, they were just for show. They are being converted for function now.

We had a look at making these previously but they cost alot. I can look into them again. I think last time we made them too complicated. Keep it simple... so I will look into this. Thanks for the comments.

We also have a single panel of 5mm Tempered Glass available for sale at the show. It measures approximately 860mm x 555mm. Sale price coming soon.

This will be $75 at the show. Based on a quote of the same size panel, this panel is worth $112.
