Hi Adam,

Quick Links still doesn't work for me. As said before, clicking on Quick Links just makes the page jump to a different part of the same page (doesn't matter what page I'm viewing).

Could you please give me a URL link to Quick Links so I can bookmark it?

If you want, I can send you a before and after screan shot by PM to show you what I mean.

Thanks, and keep up the good work.

Please attach a screenshot.

Quick Links is NOT a link to a HTML page, it is a JavaScript manual. Do you have JavaScript enabled?

For reference, here are the links under it:

Hi Adam,

Thanks for your reply and the links.

This is what comes up when I click on Quick Links when viewing this thread:

http://www.aussiepythons.com/showthread.php?t=43023#usercptools

I have attached 2 screen shots Before and After to show you the difference. Sorry about the size. I don't know how to use The Gimp in Linux.

I was going to send them by PM but I couldn't find the Attach button in the PM window.

Thanks for your help.

Wombat - I heard that rude word - Linux! Maybe thats the problem - or the implementation of Java in your OS is a bit dodgy as it is a Java menu, not an actual link.

Are you having any other strange issues?

Maybe investigate downloading the latest Java for your system. Heres a link:
http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

Good luck.

falconboy, why is Linux a rude word? I am using an old version (Mandrake Linux 9.2) so it's probably not worth it.

As for other strange issues, there are some web sites the don't display properly but I thought that they are set up for Windoze (misspelling intensional) users.

With the help from Adam's links, I have set up my own Quick Links menu using bookmarks.

The problem is probably with JavaScript (not Java). What version of JavaScript is your browser using. Also - is it possible for you to download and install Opera or Firefox? That would definitely fix the problem.

Cheers
Adam

Not sure what version JavaScript I'm using, But the browser is Konqueror 3.1.4 (Using KDE 3.1.3) on Mandrake Linux 9.2. Yeah, I know it's old. I used to have Opera installed but it was unusable. I will stick with what I've got. With the the links you have given me, I have set up my own Quick Links menu using Konqueror's bookmarks.

Quick Links was the only link I was having trouble with, and since I now have a work around, you can concider this issue resolved.

Thanks for your help, Adam. Keep up the good work.
