looks like litoria peronii
do you have any shots of the eyes? peronii have a cross pattern on there eyes

It's peronii you see the black at the top of the groin, that is the top of the marbling which tylerii don't really have. The cross in the eye is a bad method.

Does it have tiny green specks on its back? The photo is too out-of-focus to see clearly but I can faintly see the emerald green specks characterisic of Litoria peronii.
GeckPhotographer, why is the criss-cross pupil feature a bad method?

Both have a cross in the pupil it is only slightly more pronounced in peronii. During the day both have tiny green specks too. Tyler's do seem to lose that colouring at night.

Went and had a look at both, I have changed my mind the difference in marbling is not distinguishable from above/without opening the animals back legs. If anything that black at the top of the leg is more like tyleri.

Make your own judgement but this could swing either way.
