who uses carbon fibre heating bulbs ?

anybody using carbon fibre far heating bulb in viv .
i have put a 50 watt in my cage on timer
does not seem to up air temp much but
everything under it is really nice and warm to the touch .

claim to not increase air temps just heat reptes and sticks eg.sirface temperature only .
i am a bit worried about leaving it running while i am at work away from my snake
i am trialling it for winter use as i get sub 10 degrees c at night for a few months shortly .
anybody actually using them effextively i cant find mamy reveiws
i would plan to have it on my heat pad thermostat so it can cycle with my subsrate temlerature i domt know if this type of instant heat work with a stat probe.

If you want to spread heat to raise air temp for night time, use a CHE… if you want a daylight heat, then use a phillips globe from Bunnings for like 5$
Could also get a good quality thermostat that allows you to change heat based on time of day and set it to heat mat and set heat mat to like 10c during winter nights
