i actually ran the photos past twisted and knobbies breeder to make sure what i was seeing was what i was seeing, especially considering i could feel a hard lump on one side

I see why you held the head there... I just tried it on one of my girls, and she bit me! She was not impressed at being turned upside down and peered at :D

I'll know better next time!
 
actually i found it the easiest way to hold them so i can 'attempt' to take one handed photos :lol:

didnt want to hurt her either so it was also the safest way
 
I will have to perfect my ventral examination technique, that's for sure!

That makes sense, I might try head first next time.
 
no worries, i actually think she felt safer and more secure even if it was upside down
