Just wondering if peoples dogs or any other pets interact with their snakes. When I have my 8 month old jungle out our 17 month old sheltie is very interested. He is well trained and I am confident that he will never disobey my command to leave it alone lol.
The jungle is also eager and usually makes its way towards the sheltie. They usually just sit there smelling each others noses until the dog gets tickled by the jungles tongue flicking on his nose. So he usually moves away after 10 or so seconds then comes back.
The first time this happened i was unaware our puppy was in the house. I looked away for a second and then i saw the jungle and puppy face to face staring at each other. Shat myself at first but then made sure he left it alone.
If they are both in the same vicinity i will sit next to them to ensure nothing happens.
Anyone got any similar observations with their pets?
Cheers
