Hey everyone,

I am thinking of changing my coastal's enclosure up a bit..

Right now there is a big stick straight up the middle so she can get high and low and I a rock to get up on..

Do they like plants and other things in their enclosure?

Any ideas/pictures of your enclosures would be great!

It's more to the point that I am getting bored with the enclosure but I want to make it better for her to live in as well!

Thank you,

Matt! :)

People always say the 'decorations are there for your benefit but I work on the theory of stimulus enrichment. They are climbers so givit some stuff to climb and if it's a display enclosure that you look at a lot or is a feature in your home make it look good with plants and stuff. By adding that stuff to my Mac enclosure my girl has the option if she wants to hide but not be in her hide she goes into different areas of the enclosure, she seems to like getting partially hidden and assuming an ambush pose.

Short answer is, if you are happier with extra decoration do it, your snake won't complain.
