Includes shelving units, water system, custom made co2 euthanasia box, 2 work trolleys, grow-out tubs to grow weaners to adult size, paperwork system to keep track of production, and all other supplies.
Last 6 months average yield = 97 WEANERS PER WEEK from 40 populated boxes (so would expect 145 per week from all 60 boxes).

20 of the 60 boxes have not been populated for the last couple of years as co-owner has a bad knee so we have chosen to leave the bottom row empty.
If you haven’t bred feeder mice before, we can provide all details of care. Labour commitment is 15 minutes daily for checks/feeding (longer on the odd occasion there is an issue which needs dealing with), and approx 5-6 hours (or 2-3 hours for 2 people) once per week to clean, check production in each cage and harvest weaners.
Setup needs to be kept in a temperature controlled, cat-proof and insect-proof environment.
Optional: we planned on expanding the setup, but as we are now selling, we also have 26 new vari-flow water vales plus 26 new plastic boxes which were going to be converted into cages. We can include these in the sale and give instructions on how to convert them to cages if needed.
