How do shinglebacks mate?

I am wanting to know how do shinglebacks mate? I know what time of the year they do and all that, but how exactly do they?

And apparently they mate for life, which is why you often find two in close proximity dead on the road. Wonder if it is true of blueys, often see two of those dead on roads as well
