Thick-Tail Gecko

Hey are there any people out there that keep your thick-tails without heating we asked our uncle a zoologist who's an expert in herpetology, the breeder of our one, a reptile vet, pythonowner25 and the VHS website says you can but there are people out there that I have met that have say you do need heating we have ours over a heating vent so he gets some warmth (this is for the Victorian subspecies not the WA One)
