Hey im thinking of building an outdoor enclosure. will it be cool to have turtles and a beaded dragon in together?

Hi Martins,

First of all, it depends what area you're in as to whether beardies can be in an outdoor enclosure - needs to be warm enough for them. Secondly, I would never automatically assume it would be fine to house reptiles of different species together. I'm hoping that someone else here can give you a more educated opinion on the two species in question... my advice would be to avoid mixing species and sizes.

Cheers :)

Good question! And one I'd like the answer to also. What reps can you put in an outside turt enclosure? The school enclosure ( see The kids won!! ) is just begging for some other critters to share it. We thought of birds but catching them if they breed would be a nightmare, lol!

easter water dragons adults would be fine with turtles you need to make sure they cant climb out tho

Ive seen both water dragons and blue tongues kept with turtles before with no problems, but I dont know if this is always the case as animals all have different personalities. You could have a group of water dragons with turtles and theyll get on fine and then add another water dragon that is a nasty so-and-so that just wants to attack everything. It just comes down to trial and error I guess.

i've got a eastern beardie, blueys, ewd and turtles all together, they are all fine
