3 days ago i noticed that my 12 month old stimson has slight swelling on the uner side of his head at the base where it connects to his body their is no strange colouration and it has not got bigger.

What do you think it is :(

photos please!? and what does it feel like...
this may help us give you an idea but probably best to go see a vet.

Is he due for a shed?? Our maccie goes like this when he's going to shed and I know it's a bit freaky when they do it.

he shed about a month ago can't get a good photo that shows it

Sounds pre-shed. The skin will look loose around the back of its head.

Im a vet nurse, you better get him to a vet if it ends up that he`s just about to shed then thats great but if its something else the sooner they see him the better.

I had a jungle that had a slight swelling behind the bottom jaw.I and my vet treated it as an infection or abcess, but over about 2-3 months I noticed it started to get bigger. It turned out to be lymphosarcoma- a form of cancer wich proved fatal.I'm not trying to scare you,but get to vet asap. It's better to be safe than sorry.
