Hey all,

Just wanted to ask a quick question about what water : verm ratio people have used in the past for natural intergrade carpet eggs. A recommendation in gram weight would also be handy :)

Cheers,
Mike

50/50 by weight, i believe pearlite, or no substrate over water incubation method works well for diamonds/ intergrades

Bunnings usually only has the fine grade 2 stuff - I bought a bag of grade 4 off ebay for $9.

Dont weigh it, if theres a small hole in the bag it will soak up moisture and throw your mix out.
Just mix it up so you can squeeze it in your hand and no water comes out but enough moisture to clump together.

Bunnings do sell it but you get a mixed grade.

Ideally you want the largest grade you can get... even if you incubating something like gecko eggs. I can get 50 litre bag of grade 4 from a place called ... something like Refactory supplies in Dandenong (Melbourne) which I have found to be ideal. I believe you can get a grade 5 but I have never seen it for sale.
