how common are copperheads here in vic? mainly asking as iv seen a few cruising my backyard and until i saw this thread, i never actually knew what they were, and how venimous are they?

Very common in my part of Victoria, where are you James?
Over the last few years/decades i have noticed them becoming more common in areas where tigersnakes once ruled.
Very venomous but you wont get bitten if give them some room,they are super shy.
