just wondering my sand monitor been laying upside down under heat light has anyone else witnessed this in any of their monitors i no pythons sometimes lay that way when gravid but ive never witnessed this with any of my goannas

My spencers stands up on it's back legs, leaning back on a log so the heat comes down on it's belly.

I've also seen a Gould's monitor do that at Perth zoo. It was upside down poking out from under a stack of slate. I thought the slate must have shifted and killed it so I told the keeper and they just laughed and said 'He does that all the time- wierdo!'.

i will try and get a photo of him he just lays flat on the ground in u shape havent seen any of my other ones doing it but looks like others monitors do it also good to no nice pics to mate
