We've got a cocky (sulphur crested) up for adoption....It came in from one of the local vets with no info about where it came from. It was being hassled by a couple dogs when it was picked up. It's wings are clipped and it has a metal ring on it's ankle/foot, it's not a wild bird, it's semi tame.

If you're interested in adopting this little dude we do ask that it goes to a home with other birds as they naturally live with other birds and need companionship.

send us a PM if you're interested

Hopefully the owner of the bird will be reunited with their buddy, rather than it being adopted by someone new. It's obviously a pet that needs to find its home.

I'd love to send it back to it's owner but vet didn't get any details from the person dropping it off. We've had birds come in from 30-40 Kms away. The dude adopting the bird is happy to give it back to the owner if they come forward.
