I hate the bastards but the little dude next door rocked up with one to see if I knew what the bloody hell it was before it copped the slipper!

Mouse spider, you can tell by the gigantic fangs.
 
Female mouse spider (Missulena) as said above. Not just the fangs (although they are always massive!!) but the carapace bulge and eye arrangement.
 
Thank god we don't get beasts like that where I live. I'm not a fan of spiders and just looking at those pictures made me shiver!
 
...well, its looks like a Funnel Web to me. Neat Spider
