These are a couple of Murray Darling RPM's I hatched last season.
I've had both of them put aside to keep as future breeders. As usual keeping then when they are small is fine but cage space is very limited when they get bigger.

I was going to keep the male as I don't really want any more females floating around but with each shed the female just keeps getting better and better.

Wow!!! This is one amazing snake!

Here is a super noob question...(brace yourself!)
What is a RPM?

is it reduced pattern ...something?

Nice snakes Mrs. Marsh - Oooooh - it does get in (sad joke for us oldies).

Great lookin snakes and you obviously look after them - especially their teeth

ill happily take her off your hands if you like

Yes, I remember Mrs Marsh.....................

I posted the wrong pics. I usually take a couple of pics with the toothpaste tube showing just to make sure the colour balance is accurate.
The tube is then cropped out...

Great hyroglyphics on the first one. I can do a full translation but I'll need to keep him here for a year or two......

It was weird because I saw the threads name 'Decisions, Decisions' and then I saw that it was posted by The Devil......yeah

Anyway beautiful snakes mate, I'll take one if your giving 'em away haha

Wow, absolutely stunning! I really, really want one :D

Briiiziii, RPM = reduced pattern morph

Oh how horrible it must be to be you, having to make such decisions, must be a tough life =p.

Problem solved, a friend has offered me the use of a large vertical style cage so I'm keeping both.

I should have put that the female is the one in the first pic.

RPM is reduced patterned morph, another name for a JAG.

Stunning animals, look gorgeous.

I thought RPM meant reduced pattern modified?
Jinjajoe will be the guy to ask about these things me thinks....

Does it really make any difference? They are JAGs, so what RPM stands for doesn't really make a difference.

By necessity to be a Jag a snake must have some of the original Jag genes in it
Do all RPMs contain the Jag genes?

Of not they cant really be called Jags

Yes, the RPMs carry the JAG genes as they are JAGs. Same co-dom trait.

So what will they call some of those absolutely stunning selectively bred carpets that dont have Jag in them??
