Lake Broadwater

I'm thinking of heading out to Lake Broadwater for a bit of a look around. Just wanting to know is there a best time of year to head out there ? Is it accessible for 2wd ? Any tips from people who have been out there would be great.

It's a real nice area, two wheel drive is fine, just depends how much you want to walk :lol:

Some species we found out there on a uni trip, pale heads, shinglebacks, golden tails, red belly, eastern brown, plenty of frogs, but it was a while ago, and my ex took all my photos so it's a bit hazy
