Moving reptiles interstate

Hey guys, just a general curiosity question here, how does one go about moving their reptiles interstate? Any laws, licensing, how it goes through the airport?

You need to apply for an export permit from the state the animal is leaving and an import permit for the state the animal is entering into. Freighting by air is the preferred method most of the time when buying an animal from someone because in most instances the buyer has the animal the same day it is sent.

Easy just takes a bit of time and a few phone calls or emails first off you need to contact the relevant department in the state you wish to move too.Then get the equivenlent licence and the exsport/import permits if relevant then arrange to move any and all reptiles through AAE and you can list all reptiles on the same movement advice cheaper and easier just need to move them all together
