I currently have a year old Cunningham's Skink and I am considering getting them a tank mate, as I know they are very social reptiles. My question is how I could best go about this without risking attacks and squabbling between the 2? Should I be looking for a similar sized animal? I am planning to move my current one into a larger tank soon, should I hold off until I have both animals so neither one can "claim" the territory before the other?
This would be my first time introducing communal lizards to each other so I don't really have a frame of reference. Any tips and advice are greatly appreciated.
And of course the lizard tax.
