I would love to know a bit more about the history and the current situation regarding Aussie gtps. Eg, lineages, original stock numbers and when they were collected, if seperate bloodlines still continue today. I have the more complete chondro and that sheds a little light, but if there is any papers or any sites you reccomend that would be fantastic.
And does anyone know if some of the original breeders have kept their stock pure?

Cheers all.

You should check out The Green Effect on the breeders page of this site.

Jeffa, there is quite a few true native Aussie GTP lines out there.
Michael Cermak & Adrian Hemens lines are the most well known.
But there are others- Baden 'solar 17', Charles Acheson, Matthew Bonnett to name a few. However in Australia there is no paperwork trail, basically you have to take the breeders word for it. Aussie native lines are usually pretty obvious

Thanks guys,

And thanks for the insight. Have read Waterats info and glad to hear Baden has a native line. Thanks for the info.
