Hey guys, I just have a random question that I thought I'd ask...
When a hatchy hatches when do you feed it? Straight after it comes out of the egg or after?

    Thanks

Im not a breeder but they generally get there first feed after there first slough, due to absorbed egg yolk.

Sorry with the newbie question, but what exactly is a slough? Thanks.

No worries, im still a newbie myself, a slough is just the more technical term for when they shed there skin.

Thanks :), do you know when they normally shed their skin after they hatch, or is it just random?

Once they have their first shed, it's ok to feed them.

    Around 2 weeks after hatching.

It can take about 14 days from when they hatch to when they shed, it is most likely that they will not eat before this, so many breeders do not even bother trying.
