I'm not of the belief that better laws will make any difference. Nor will increased funding, more staff or even technology.
The problem has been there since Christopher Columbus and is unlikely to improve, the decline can at best only be slowed.
As a nation we can't even stop adding to the cat problem so what chances have we got when it comes to dealing with disease?
Our politicians are too afraid to implement laws that will make a difference, people dont understand or don't care about the implications of their actions and the courts do little to act as a deterrent.
The planet is dying, the wildlife & fauna around us is all dying and all because of the human element.
