Hey everyone,
As I'm sure everyone knows, brumation is coming up pretty soon, and while I've got the general idea with my snakes, i'm pretty clueless what to do with my Pink Tounge Skink,

He (assumed male), is i'm guessing just over a year old, the place I got him from had pretty much no records about him.
So, first of all should I brumate him? I'm not sure if he's old enough...

If I can/should, How do I got about it?
He eats about every second day right now, although he always has food accessible, and I admit that I didn't use heat over summer, as the cage got more than hot enough, from the UVB and the heat from the tank below.
How do I change these conditions?

Any advice is appreciated,
thanks :)

With my pink tongues i never changed the heating situation but the ambient temperature drop was enough for them to go into brumation. They'll become alot less active and bury themselves in the substrate for however long they feel, coming up every week or two for food and water. As long as your skink is in good condition there should be no worries at all.
