i dont see why it would eat vegetables on there own , if it was in home made turtle diners then thats a diffrent story .

Well that's good. We feed him meat rolled on calcium powder and frozen so he gets his required calcium and meat. So I guess it's all right then

Shrimp is the best food for growing turts, or something with bone material and less red meat.
